Hi, I’m Simon. I’m a therapist who gets what it’s like to be wired differently.
About Your Therapist
Hi I’m Simon. I’m a pre-accredited therapist based in Malahide with lived experience of ADHD. For years, I navigated systems and spaces that didn’t quite fit and where I felt I had to mask or over adapt. It took time, support, and finding new ways of being to understand that there was never anything wrong with me. That insight shapes everything I do as a therapist today.
Why I Do This Work
I support people who think, feel, or experience the world differently — especially those with ADHD, autism (diagnosed or self-identified), sensory sensitivity, anxiety, or burnout.
Whether you’re exploring a late diagnosis, unmasking, or just need space to feel safe and seen, I offer therapy that meets you where you are — no pressure, no performance, no fixing.
My goal is simple: to create a space where you don’t have to explain your every reaction, soften your language, or shrink your needs.
How I Work.
My Background
My practice is relational, flexible, and grounded in acceptance. I use a person-centred, neurodiversity-affirming approach that blends talking, walking, and gently reflecting in natural settings. Together, we move at your pace, side by side.
Alongside my lived experience, I bring a strong academic foundation to my therapeutic work:
Master’s in Counselling and Psychotherapy
Honours Degree in Psychology
Master’s in Public Health
I am currently a pre-accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP). This means I have completed all required training and am working toward full accreditation through ongoing clinical practice and supervision with an accredited supervisor.
